Fire Mountain Designs LLC was created in 2017. I created the company after working with a local non-profit organization that builds wooden toys for sick and needy children. Working with this group inspired me to follow through on my dream of having a shop where I was able to build quality wood projects for use in a home or office.

Natural wood is such a medium, from the beautiful color to the different wood grain pattern. Natural wood is always an enhancement to any home or office setting, from a small jewelry box for the bedroom to a large cutting board for your kitchen.

I usually use woods like walnut, cherry, maple, and sapele. I look for the best quality of wood for each project. Each piece of rough wood I select is carefully chosen for a certain wood product I am making or developing. I use several local saw mills in to get the best rough wood. I mill all of the wood in my shop, cut to size, and assemble and sand by hand. I try to use natural finish where possible, and this depends on the product that I make. This process allows me to make a small amount to be sold at a time, and oversee the process very carefully to make sure the product is quality work. Each wood product is unique because of its hand-made nature and the color and pattern of the wood.

At Fire Mountain Designs, I strive for perfection on every project that I build. I want people to know when they order from my Etsy store, they will be happy with the item they purchase and the service that I provide. I am always happy to hear from potential customers as well as my repeat customers about my products.

My wood projects are not mass-produced like what might be made using any type of machine automation. I use the best quality wood from some local saw mills.
